Aims to assist people and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to establish and maintain secure and sustainable housing.

Offering crisis, transitional and long term accommodation, including independent living units and assistance through the housing establishment fund. The service also supports people to overcome the effects of financial hardship and gambling.

EMERGENCY SUPPORTED HOUSING

Accommodation for up to seven days for people with a housing crisis. Located in Ararat and Stawell, counselling is provided to work towards more secure housing options.

INDEPENDENT LIVING

Giving older persons an independent lifestyle with security, companionship and a sense of community at Hazelmere in Horsham and Sweetman Court in Rupanyup.

FINANCIAL COUNSELLING

Assists with budgeting, negotiation, referral, repayments, information on assistance and entitlements, and financial counselling. The counsellors also conduct seminars and workshops for schools, service groups and in the community.

FINANCIAL COUNSELLING - HOSPITAL BASED

A free, hospital-based service to help overcome the financial impact of illness on individuals and families. Assistance is provided on site at Wimmera Health Care Group with budgeting, negotiation, referral and repayments, as well as information on entitlements.

GAMBLERS HELP

Provides free and confidential counselling to assist with financial difficulty experienced as a result of problem gambling. Gambler's Help also provides wider community education.

HOUSING LONG-TERM AND GROUP

Long-term and group accommodation for people with disabilities.

NO INTEREST LOAN SCHEME

Provides small loans for essential household, medical and educational items with no interest or charges, to assist people on low and limited incomes. The usual limit is $1,000.
