The children of the vacation care program and the disability support services holiday program celebrated the last day of the school holidays by having a party and games day. The children played games together such as musical chairs, apple stretching on strings, balloon races and then had party food on the lawn outside. The children had a barbeque lunch and played parachute games together with staff who also thoroughly enjoyed the activities.

Coordinator of Childrens Services Michelle Campbell said " Its fantastic that the children of both of these programs get the opportunity to enjoy fun activities together and celebrate the last day of the school holidays". Coordinator of Disability Support Services Adam Murray said, "It was great to see the children having such a good time. Bringing these two programs together has been a step forward and allows us to think ‘outside the square' when it comes to planning".
